Medium & Large Power Transformers

Substation power transformers for utility and industrial applications.

Wafr Medium & Large Power Transformers provide high-capacity voltage transformation for Canadian utility, generation, renewable-energy, mining, industrial and critical-infrastructure substations.

This product family covers applications beyond conventional distribution-transformer ratings, including transformers above 3000 kVA and/or above 34.5 kV primary voltage.

Each transformer is engineered specifically around system voltage, MVA rating, impedance, short-circuit requirements, cooling, insulation level, tap-changing requirements, environmental conditions and utility specifications.
