Dry-Type Distribution Transformer

Epoxy cast dry-type transformers designed for reliable, low-maintenance power distribution.

Wafr supplies dry-type distribution transformers using electrically oriented silicon steel or amorphous alloy core materials with epoxy resin cast coils. The design provides strong fire resistance, moisture resistance and insulation performance for demanding indoor and outdoor installations.

Construction

Core

Three-phase, three-column laminated core construction using electrically oriented silicon steel or amorphous alloy core materials.

Windings

H-class film-coated flat copper wire with epoxy resin insulation, designed for moisture and corrosion resistance, low partial discharge and mechanical and thermal stability.

Clamping Structure

Frame-style clamping construction supports the transformer core and windings and provides mechanical stability under operating and short-circuit forces.

Core: A three-phase three-column laminated core is used, and the three columns are all covered with windings. The left and right magnetic flux phases are different, the core magnetic circuit is unbalanced, and the middle column magnetic circuit is shorter, which reduces the no-load current.

Winding: It is made of H-class film-coated non-woven flat copper wire and epoxy resin insulating material, which is moisture-proof and corrosion-resistant, has small partial discharge, has sufficient dynamic and thermal stability, and will not shift during operation and transportation.

Clamp: Frame structure, the clamping structure bears the clamping force, the gravity of the lifting body and the mechanical force generated when the transformer is short-circuited, ensuring the electromagnetic performance of the cold-rolled electrical steel sheet.
