Wafr supplies single-phase overhead distribution transformers in ratings from 5 to 167 kVA. Units are available with CRGO silicon steel or amorphous metal cores, copper or aluminum windings, and configurable construction for utility requirements.

Sealed Tank

Conventional configurations use a cylindrical sealed tank structure.

Mounting & Connections

Units are equipped with grounding devices, hooks and supporting lugs, with one or two high-voltage bushings mounted on the cover and low-voltage bushings mounted on the tank wall.

Tap Changer

The tap changer is designed to be adjusted while the transformer is de-energized.

Conventional Type: The transformer is cylinder sealing structure. Each one is fixed with grounding devices, hooks, supporting lugs which conforms to ANSI standard, and one or two high voltage bushing on the cover, low voltage bushing on the wall of the tank and eyebolt, connecting terminals. The tap-changer should be adjusted according to the instructions after the power is off.

Normal Use Conditions

  • Suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation
  • Air temperature: maximum +40°C; minimum -25°C
  • Humidity: monthly average 95%; daily average 90%
  • Ambient air not apparently polluted by corrosive and flammable gas, vapor, etc.
  • No frequent violent shake
